We came to this park from La Hacienda RV Resort in Apache Junction where we stayed two nights. La Hacienda caters to primarily park models and permanent residents. We had planned on a two week stay, but left because we were in a 5th wheel travel trailer and did not feel welcome at all. We found Countryside the day after arriving at La Hacienda and moved here immediately. While visiting to see what Countryside had to offer we found friendly folks and almost all of the amenities offered at the much higher priced La Hacienda RV Resort. Countryside is gated, has friendly helpful management and is clean and well maintained. We have two small poodles and have taken advantage of the nice walking area just outside a gate close to our site. TengoNet offers wifi for a nominal charge and works great. We will definitely come back again to Countryside. It's convenient to anything you need in the area.

Very nice park. Helpful and friendly managers. Very well maintained, quiet and clean. They offer free breakfast which they call Continental breakfast every morning. Never saw such a variety free in previous parks. They also provide USA Today free to residents. They offer wifi which is one of our requisites while traveling. Spent a week there and would definitely stay again.

New park apparently heading toward park models. Construction going on to set up park models. Restricted to newer than ten yr old RVs longer than 25'. We spent two nights while visiting friends in the area. Would stay again if we are in the area. Clean and very quiet.

The previous reviewer is right about Overland Trail's website. It is very nice. However his/her take on the owner/manager is off base. We stayed at Overland Trail for a week. It is a small park, has few amenities, but does have laundry and shower facilities. The wifi was free and worked great. We were in Fort Davis to sightsee and enjoy the area. We found the manager very helpful and friendly. Matter of fact, the day we left I lost my cellphone and didn't discover it until we were 200 miles west on our way to AZ. I called, asked if he would see if he could find it around our space. He found it and mailed it to us at our next stop. During the week we were in his park he was a down to earth, Texas style, friendly host and we will certainly visit his park again when we are in the area. For a "down home" quiet and friendly place it can't be beat.
